Hi! I’m Batı Şengül, a quantitative analyst working in finance. In a previous life, I was a probabilist working in academia. I obtained my PhD from the University of Cambridge, working with Nathanael Berestycki. Then I moved onto doing a postdoc at the University of Bath with Andreas Kyprianou, and a brief postdoc at King’s College London before moving into industry.
